“রসূল (সা) বলেছেনঃ যদি কোন ব্যক্তি মুসলিম রাষ্ট্রের মধ্যে বসবাসকারী অমুসলিম নাগরিক বা মুসলিম দেশে অবস্থানকারী অমুসলিম দেশের কোনো অমুসলিম নাগরিককে হত্যা করে তবে সে জান্নাতের সুগন্ধও লাভ করতে পারবে না, যদিও জান্নাতের সুগন্ধ ৪০ বৎসরের দুরত্ব থেকে লাভ করা যায়।” সহীহ আল-বুখারী, হাদীস ৬/২৫৩৩

“বিধর্মীকে হত্যা করা তো দূরের কথা, বিধর্মীদের সাথে অভদ্র আচরণ করতেও নিষেধ করা হয়েছে। তাদের ধর্মবিশ্বাস বা উপাস্যদেরকে গালি দিতেও নিষেধ করা হয়েছে। মুসলিম তার নিজের বিশ্বাসের শ্রেষ্টত্ব বর্ণনা করবেন, তবে কারো অনুভূতিকে আহত করবে না। মহান আল্লাহ্ বলেন, আল্লাহ্ ছেড়ে যাদেরকে তাঁরা ডাকে তাদেরকে তোমরা গালি দিও না; কারণ এতে তারাও সীমালংঘন করে অজ্ঞতাবশত আল্লাহ্কে গালি দিবে।” আল-আন’আম, আয়াত ১০৮

কক্সবাজার ও চট্টগ্রামে সাম্প্রতিকসময়ে গোঁড়া মুসলিমদের আক্রমনে বৌদ্ধ-ধর্মাবল্মবীদের ছিন্নভিন্ন হয়ে যাওয়া অবস্থায় আমার এক বন্ধু ফেসবুকে এই আয়াত দুটি পোস্ট করেন। দেখে খুব ভালো লেগেছিল, আমি জানতামও যে ইসলাম ধর্মে অবশ্যই শান্তির অনেক পথ দেখানো হয়েছে। তাই এই পোস্টটি আমি আমার স্ট্যাটাসে দিয়েছিলাম।

কিন্তু তারপর আমার আরেক বন্ধু, যিনি খুবই বিজ্ঞ ও উদার একজন মানুষ, তিনি একটা মন্তব্য করলেন, মানে এই আয়াত দুটোর একটা অসামঞ্জস্যকে চোখে আঙ্গুল দিয়ে দেখিয়ে দিলেন। সেটা আমারও চোখে পড়েছিল, কিন্তু আমি এড়িয়ে যেতে চেয়েছিলাম বিতর্কের ভয়ে। তাছাড়া কেউ কেউ না বুঝে উল্টাপাল্টা ভেবে নিতে পারে এই ভেবে।

তবে উনার পরের মন্তব্যগুলো সব মূল ধর্মের বিশ্লেষন, সেখানেও আমার কোন দ্বিমত নেই, বরং আনেক মিল আছে আমার ভাবনার সাথে।

তাই স্ট্যাটাসটা আমি মুছে ফেলিনি। শুধু দিদি’র মন্তব্যগুলো এখানে সরিয়ে আনলাম। ক্ষমা করবেন দিদি।

  Audity Falguni @ Probir…when any religion shamelessly continues on preaching it as the “best” religion on world, should not we doubt the sanity of that/those religion(s)? Today I miss Humayun Azad who once mocked that Rashed (the protagonist of his fiction) is surrounded by on all four corners of him by his fellow colleagues, wife, in-laws and others who belong to the “best faith” on the planet. Humayaun Azad also did make satirical comments over astronaut Armstrong’s conversion myth. Today the astronaut’s ashes have been thrown to the Atlantic ocean according to his last wishes. What the hell you can do with a “blind” community with a handful of real exceptions amongst them? Do I sound “communal?” If yes, I do. I have no shame in admitting it. Another thing need be mentioned. When any particular community endorses its religion to be “the latest,” well…religion is not any shampoo/soap brand that it needs to be “latest.” Rather the value system of that particular faith and life- anecdote of it’s preacher should be assessed. I love Spinoza who equated Mohammad and Krishna saying they both loved warfare and women and gave a damn to any ethics in getting plenty of women and victory in war. Krishna courted his uncle’s wife (Radha) and married a number of women. Mohammad married women from 9-40 years’ age range including the wife of his adopted son. But Krishna is mythical while Mohammad is historical…and it’s very risky that the preacher of an “organized” religion or a historical person had those ugly habits. Compare the celibate Jesus Christ’s or monogamist Budhdha’s lives! Budhdha later even gave up his home (wife and one month old boy) to know the `truth’! We, the common sinners of flesh and blood, can bow to a person of this height as someone superior! Why should we bow down to people who marry children? To people even worse than ours? How pure they were (Budhda and Jesus) in their seeking for love and redemption for the entire mankind! Finally my suggestion is: keep this comment only for 20 minutes and then delete it. Otherwise tomorrow lakhs of infidels will be massacred again in our beloved Dhaka city.
