Probir Kumar Sarker is a Bangladeshi author, journalist and researcher with 15 years of experience in the history of Bangladesh and the regional minority communities, politics, crime and cross-border smuggling, violence against women, transgender rights, workers’ rights, pollution and climate change, animal rights and social norms.

He writes news stories, analyses, and op-eds in newspapers, blogs, and on Facebook and X.

He worked in the Dhaka Tribune newspaper, The Daily Star and bdnews24.com from 2009-2024.

His first book was published by Amazon and is available on the Kindle Store.

Born in 1981, he has spent significant time in black and white photography, sports, music and entrepreneurship to promote consumer- and environmentally-friendly products and services maintaining strong ethical values.

Some of his pilot projects include ALOKA guaranteed shirts, Bhalo Phol Krishi Seba, FishFish Cafe, Shostay Bazar variety store, SILVER RINGS Matrimony, Earnest Agents, OtOmOtO and Martial Bodyguards.
